There are many beautiful places on earth, but in my view--and I admit to be heavily biased--there aren't many as beautiful as the south of Israel, especially the Eilat Mountains Reserve, the Arava Valley and the Timna Park.

Several days ago, I've stumbled upon one of the most impressive collection of photographs from the region. The author of this amazing collection is Alexej Sergeev, a postdoctoral researcher at Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva.

Alexej's talent for landscape photography and love for the region are readily apparent throughout his collection. This is a first batch of photographs in a series featuring the incredibly beautiful Timna Park. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
